HIA Takes 5 Places out of 113 in the Zeta Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Stock Market Challenge!
The Stock Market competition concluded as of last Thursday. There was a pool of 113 participants. In the ZNL 2024 Stock Market Competition, out of the one hundred and thirteen, there were six winners, five were from Hillside, and those five are all scholars attending Hillside Innovation Academy. All five of them received a prize of 100 dollars! They are also given the opportunity to open up an E-Trade Custodial Account.

How we got here: The Zeta Nu Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. extended an invitation to the students of grades 7-12 in Hillside Public Schools t to participate in an engaging and interactive financial literacy program.
HIA scholars took advantage of this four-week virtual event and immersed themselves in the fundamentals of long-term investing. They engaged in hands-on experiences in managing diversified investment portfolios, gained insight into stocks, bonds, ETFs, cryptocurrency, real estate, futures, and options, but also fine-tuned crucial real-world skills in mathematics, language arts, economics, and financial literacy.
