HIAs Saturday Scientists started Saturday, January 13, facilitated by Women of Wellness. The program is geared towards scholars with an expressed interest in the health professions, forensic science or surgical techniques. The first lesson covered blood types and donor matches. Scholars used technology to identify the correct donor to approve a blood transfusion as the lead medical team member. The program will be held 2-3 Saturdays a month up until May.
