The First Day of the 2026 - 2027 School Year!

The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway, Hillside Public Schools! Our schools were filled with smiles, excitement, and plenty of first-day energy as we welcomed our students back!

Acting Superintendent Dr. Gretel Pérez made her way across the district, visiting each of our schools to personally welcome students, staff, and families back for another great year of learning, growth, and achievement. Thank you to Dr. Pérez, Hillside Public Schools' Principals, Supervisors, Directors, teachers, staff, and Hillside Board of Education members for making the first day welcoming and smooth for all of our students.
